As you can see from the photos, our boat service from Stresa, Baveno and Pallanza can take you to all major attractions on Lake Maggiore and you can pick and mix to make your own tailor made boat tour itinerary for groups or private tours:
Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola Pescatori
The famous Borromean Islands are our most popular boat tour on Lake Maggiore! Isola Bella with its opulent palace and immaculate terraced gardens, Isola Madre with its sumptuous villa and beautiful parkland and Isola Pescatori with its narrow lanes, 11th century church and excellent choice of restaurants. Our boat tours can take you to one, two or all three islands. Just ask and we'll help with the itinerary and timings. We can also organise your skip-the-line entry tickets to Isola Madre and Isola Bella as well as guides and lunch!
Villa Taranto
The wonderful Villa Taranto gardens are an ideal place to stop in the Borromean Bay. Feel like VIPs as our boats drop you right opposite the entrance! There are currently around 1,000 plants that have never before been cultivated in Italy and almost 20,000 varieties of special botanical importance.
Santa Caterina
The Santa Caterina Hermitage complex is set into the lakeside rockface opposite Stresa and is a perfect destination for a boat tour. The main church dates back to the end of the 16th century but around the complex are frescoes dating from 1300-1320.
Baveno
Baveno is a small lakeside town about 15 minutes by boat from Stresa. The town has a pleasant promenade and plenty of bars where your group can sit out by the lake and enjoy a drink or an ice-cream. The highlight is the little 16th century square with a wonderful Stations of the Cross, the Church of Saints Gervasio and Protasio and a small octagonal baptistery.
Pallanza
Pallanza is a pretty lakeside town in the Borromean Bay with a promenade all the way to the pretty village of Suna or the Villa Taranto Gardens. We can take you right the the centre of town by boat! Visit on a Friday and you can enjoy the weekly lakeside market.
Stresa
Are you staying in Baveno or Pallanza? Why not make Stresa part for your boat tour on Lake Maggiore? The elegant promenade and lakeside gardens make for a wonderful stroll and you can explore the historic centre with its narrow cobbled lanes and leafy main piazza which is a perfect spot for a drink, lunch or an icecream! We can take you by boat to various points along the town's promenade.
